LET'S GET STARTED!!
I’ve worked in politics for decades. The most common private conversation people want to have is about whether they should run for office, how to begin, and what life is really like on the campaign trail.
Local government affects people’s daily lives more than any other level of office — yet local races and advocacy efforts are the least supported and least understood. Those with money and professional networks gain an early advantage. Those without are left to guess — or opt out.
Some may want to influence change or create awareness by leading in advocacy.
Ready to Represent exists to level access to preparation — not to promise outcomes.
We focus on clarity before commitment, judgment before tactics, and stewardship over self-importance.
Because leadership doesn’t begin on the ballot.
It begins with the intention to make things happen.
By not backing down from a tough conversation or an uncomfortable “this might rock the boat” opinion.
By checking in with limiting narratives and re-anchoring each day in what’s possible.
By pursuing our own path even when those cynical college professors told us to choose a more realistic option.

01. Where we’ll find you off the clock
I’ve been through so many group programs, coaches, and freebie classes. The marketing approaches were always “my way or the highway” or completely fluff from people who liked to hear themselves talk. Kayla and I got right to business. We skipped the trendy strategy jargon I’m accustomed to and she used her sharp eye to pinpoint my growth opportunities.

Eddie was so patient and supportive as our sessions circled back to my fear around money again and again. Every time I thought I was “over it” we’d come up against a new challenge and the worries of not-enoughness would flood back in. Without Kayla’s rock-solid presence (and lighten the mood level sarcasm) I would have ran back to my 9-5 with my tail between my legs.
